Ernst Klett AG
Klett Group’s investment into Hamburg-based software enterprise KigaRoo will further strengthen the Group’s activities in the early childhood education sector. KigaRoo’s organization and management software, which is marketed under the same name, offers a web-based solution that facilitates the daily work of pedagogues in kindergartens and day care centres: the software provides organizational and administrative support while it also simplifies the interaction with parents.
Strategic and long term cooperation“KigaRoo’s innovative solution and know-how complement our own business perfectly,” comments Philipp Haußmann, spokesperson for the Ernst Klett AG management board as he explains what prompted the education company to take an interest in the Hamburg-based start-up. “Web-based organization software is congruent with the trend of ever increasing digitalization in the education sector. It will also help us develop a market that is becoming more and more important for us: early childhood education. We are pleased to make investments into this business as we are certain of its importance and eager to make sure we will always be able to offer the optimum programme for every educational need and every age level.”
KigaRoo puts at the disposal of pedagogues all relevant information – from master data to developmental reports to work schedules and documentation. Everything is always available at a glance and even the kindergarten’s own website can be designed and published directly from the software in just a few clicks. Another focus of the software is on educator-parent communications. It is now possible through the website, via app for smart phone or via e-mail.
