Klett Group signs cooperative agreement with software start-up KigaRoo
Klett Group’s investment into Hamburg-based software enterprise KigaRoo will further strengthen the Group’s activities in the early childhood education sector. KigaRoo’s organization and management software, which is marketed under the same name, offers a web-based solution that facilitates the daily work of pedagogues in kindergartens and day care centres: the software provides organizational and administrative support while it also simplifies the interaction with parents.
“KigaRoo’s innovative solution and know-how complement our own business perfectly,” comments Philipp Haußmann, spokesperson for the Ernst Klett AG management board as he explains what prompted the education company to take an interest in the Hamburg-based start-up. “Web-based organization software is congruent with the trend of ever increasing digitalization in the education sector. It will also help us develop a market that is becoming more and more important for us: early childhood education. We are pleased to make investments into this business as we are certain of its importance and eager to make sure we will always be able to offer the optimum programme for every educational need and every age level.”
“We are very pleased to be in a cooperative relationship with Klett and have made a conscious decision to bring on board this strategic investor whose name stands for sustainability and dependability in the German education sector,” explains Moritz von Bismarck, KigaRoo’s managing partner.
Educational facilities who would like to find out more about KigaRoo now have the opportunity to test the software free of charge without having to commit to buy. For more information and to sign up for the test, please visit www.kigaroo.de.
KigaRoo GmbH & Co. KG is an emerging company that may be new on the market but already boasts vast know-how. Its team consists of experienced media, software and online experts who have conducted numerous interviews with day care centres, baby care facilities, toddler group’s care and kindergartens. As a result, the team came up with the idea to develop a software that would facilitate the everyday routines in early childhood education facilities. In close collaboration with kindergarten teachers and managers, the software experts developed a solution that accommodates the practical demands at these facilities: KigaRoo is a modern and easy-to-use software that assists pedagogues with their work while it also makes it easier to communicate with parents.
