In June 1897, Ernst Klett (Sr.) took over the Königliche Hofbuchdruckerei zu Gutenberg, a former royal printing press. That was 125 years ago now. Today, the Klett Group, which is still entirely family owned, has 80 companies across 18 countries and is one of Europe’s leading enterprises dedicated to education.
In the coming weeks and months, the Klett Group, together with its many publishing houses, distance learning schools and universities, as well as day-care centres and schools, will be offering a look behind the scenes.
