Dr Jakob Limacher has been elected as the new Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Klett Group. He succeeds Dr h.c. Michael Klett, who is retiring as Chairman due to age, but will remain a regular member of the Supervisory Board.
Stuttgart, 9 May 2025 – Born in Zurich on 22 September 1962, Dr Jakob Limacher has been a member of the Supervisory Board of the Klett Group since 2019 and is a recognised expert in education. After completing a degree in electrical engineering and business economics, he graduated from technical university ETH (Eidgenössische Technische Hochschule) Zurich with a doctorate in business economics and production engineering and, after a brief period as an engineer at Siemens, moved to the education sector. After teaching maths, statistics and financial mathematics, he became headmaster and rector of economics, commerce and information technology at AKAD. At the end of 1999, he and his business partners took over AKAD and, for the next 20 years, developed the Kalaidos Education Group, which has been part of the Klett Group since 2019.
